Polonnaruwa is the main town of Polonnaruwa District in North Central Province, Sri Lanka.😍

Kaduruwela area is the Polonnaruwa New Town and the other part of Polonnaruwa remains as the royal ancient city of the Kingdom of Polonnaruwa.🌆🌄

The second most ancient of Sri Lanka's kingdoms, Polonnaruwa was first established as a military post by the Sinhalese kingdom..🙇

The Ancient City of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage Site.💝🙇

💧''king Prakramabahu the great, who was so adamant that no drop of water falling from the heavens was to be wasted and each was to be used toward the development of the land''.💦⛆

The greatest of these systems is the Parakrama Samudra or the Sea of Parakrama which were also used as a large sea going ship anchorage via Mahaweli River. The Kingdom of Polonnaruwa was completely self-sufficient during King Parakramabahu's reign. 🌾🌴💧

In the past,Polonnaruwa was known as the ''Peradiga Dhanyagaraya''.🌽🌾

Currently the It envisions the development of all sectors in Polonnaruwa including roads, electricity, agriculture, education, health and environment will be developed comprehensively.🚌🚸🚦🚧

The ancient kingdom of Polonnaruwa :  Rankoth vehera , Hetadagaya , Nissanka latha mandapaya , Watadagaya , Deepa uyana ,Gal viharaya ,ect....

💖I was lucky to be born in Polonnaruwa and I love my village😍🙇

TRIP TO 😎💁..................

  .........TRIP TO SIGIRIYA and PIDURANGALA........... 😎 😎😍For a long time I like to go on a trip to sigiriya. I planned sigiriya trip with my friends.   We hired van to go trip.🚗 We left home at about 6.00a.m and reached Pidurangala around 8.40a.m🌞 Before we went pidurangala temple, we took our breakfast.🍞🍜 After that, we were climbed pidurangala rock. Top of pidurangla rock we can see sigiriya beautiful view.🌄 Around 1.00 o'clock 🕐 we took our lunch near a beautiful lake. 🍛🍻After taking our lunch, we were ready to go sigiriya.   Sigiriya is a very beautiful mountain. Sigiriya is a rock fortress that was built the king Kashyapa.💚 There is a lion's gate, mirror walls   and sigiri bithu situwam. We also took awesome 📷🕓 photos. About 6.00a.m we left sigiriya. It was enjoyable and an unforgivable memory for us...💁😍😎😎💁 Would love  to go on a fun trip with my friends again.........👫👭💓
